Accounts & progress
- Do I need an account?
- No. Progress is saved in your browser on your own device. There is no signup, no email, no tracking. Export a sync code or a backup file to move between devices.
- Where is my progress stored, and what clears it?
- In your browser's local storage. Clearing site data, using private mode, or (on iOS Safari) not visiting for seven days can erase it — that is exactly why the export tools exist. Install the page to your home screen for the most persistent behaviour.
The site & the verdicts
- Is Watch Order HQ affiliated with Marvel or Disney?
- No. It is an unofficial fan project. Titles and facts are used nominatively; every verdict on the site is our own opinion, with the criteria on the methodology page.
- Why are your lists shorter than the studio timelines?
- Because we take positions. Titles that are not homework are moved to a skip list with a one-line ruling, not silently dropped. You can always re-add optional entries — the checklist lets you filter them back in.
Languages & money
- What languages does the site support?
- English everywhere, plus a complete Simplified Chinese version of every roadmap and site page (the language switcher is in the header). More languages ship only when a locale is fully translated — partial translations are not published.
- How do you make money?
- Right now: you do not pay and we do not earn. When affiliate links arrive they will be clearly labelled on the page where they appear, disclosed site-wide, and never placed inside the checking flow. See the disclosure page.
